Abstract

This article argues that the enormous growth of manufacturing exports, the increasing international competitiveness, anti the greater sophistication of the patterns of the country's comparative advantage, reflect the interaction of specific locational factors and factors that are specific to the multinational enterprises (MAT). Moreover, the article shows that it is important to consider the existence of a group of large national firms that have contributed to the great dynamism find increasing competitiveness of the exports of traditional and non-traditional goods, as well as to the greater sophistication of the comparative advantage patterns.
