Mercado de trabalho: quatro enfoques em busca de um paradigma
Abstract
This paper reviews different approaches on the functioning of the labor market. First we examine neoclassical theories both Pre-Keynesians and new classical, then a we follow with Keynesian approaches, studying disequilibrium (Non-Walrsian) theories, recent rationalizations on wage-price rigidities and Neo-Keyanesian theory. Next, we turn to Neo-Marxian aproaches of the labor market dicussing their main and results. Finally, segmentationist approaches are examined reviewing different explanation on the nature of segmentation and specifying simple formal models on dual labor markets. The paper ends-up with a comparison of different approaches trying to identify "areas of ignorance" in the field.Downloads
