Extensão rural e pesquisa agrícola: uma avaliação dos problemas de não-homoteticidade e viés tecnológico
Abstract
This paper uses the most general form of CES production functions developed by Sato and the procedure for evaluation of causes of technological biases proposed by Sosin r Fairchild. The basic data is of time series (1960180) type and covers the farm sector of the State of São Paulo, Brazil. Parameters are estimated by two stage Procedures. Elasticity of substitution thus obtained is substantially lower than those obtained under homotheticity assumption. Non-homotheticity hypothesis is not rejected. Technologies provided by State systems of research (extension) are of labor using (saving) type. Results are compared with those obtained in previous studies.Downloads
